MYHRE fluefiske delivers courses and activites, with the FLYCAST in focus. This, for private persons, companies, fishing clubs, and so on, and from beginners level to the extremely advanced. Yes, it is possible to hold both the courses and activities in english.

The business is situated in Vestby, Norway, only half an hour drive from Oslo, in the south direction. The courses and activities are offered all year through. For the main part outdoors, but it is possible to have indoor activities if the customer can offer the required space (app. 5 meters to the ceiling).

MYHRE fluefiske is owned by Jan Myhre, who, in the year 2002, started Jan's Fluefiskeskole (Jan's school of flyfishing), at that time on a hobby basis only, and for private persons. The school was then, for some years, known as Jan og Toms Fluefiskeskole, before it eventually was brought back as a pure flycasting academy under the professional umbrella of MYHRE fluefiske.

The typical customer, besides private persons, are the visitors at norwegian conference hotels, mainly groups of 10-30 persons. It can be companies isolated, under "kick-off's", meetings, or different kinds of summer arrangements. It can be hospitals and rehabilitation. I also seek collaborations with Norges Handikapforbund. For some of these groups, the activities are the most suited, but courses are offered if desired. Fishing clubs are amongst the targets for courses. 

MYHRE fluefiske's activities are suitable for almost any kind of event or arrangement. They are made for exactly that. The company operates in Oslo and Akershus, Østfold, Vestfold and Buskerud. The activities have a 3-hour duration, the courses typically 5. All courses and activities are held on green grass, with the exception of two courses that are held in shallow water. In the winter, the grass may be white :-)

Flyfishing- and casting are becoming more and more popular, and they are suitable for both children, women and men of all ages.

The main thing about the activities as they are explained here, is to give the participants a fun adventure there and then. On the course side, it is of course also to bring the delegates up to a much more advanced skill level. During the activities, the participants will have a day with positivity, cooperation, and individual challenge. We invite to play, but also to learn and master in an unformal and relaxing environment. But, it also demands a little bit of consentration. The activities are also education based, but on a different level.

MYHRE fluefiske focuses on good service and quality. No ahead knowledge of flyfishing- or casting is necessary when it comes to the activities and the course named "1-hånds standard-kurs" (single handed standard course). The other courses are more advanced, and demands some knowledge.

The activities are well suited for children (10 years old minimum).

MYHRE fluefiske's activities are made for handling large groups. The courses on the other hand, operates at a much higher level technically, and therefore use fewer delegates.

Both the activities and courses can be held here in Vestby, but it is common to hold them at the customers location, if enough space. An example of this, is the conference hotels that MYHRE fluefiske has a cooperation with. There, the activities are held on their large grass areas.
